SOUNDSEEING \u2013 the M\u00fcnsterland-wide sound art festival will open KUHzeit23 in the kubaai \u2013 the newly developing quarter between the two LWL textile museums \u2013 with an open air performance by SPLASH Percussion NRW. From body percussion to drum salvos, African and South American rhythms, ragtime to minimal music, meditative or explosive: SPLASH and its young drummers and percussionists guarantee a sound-strong concert experience!<\/p>\n

On the programme are:
\n\u201cCarousel\u201c by David Friedman, a swinging virtuoso piece for vibraphone and marimba \u2013 composed by the Berlin jazz star on vibe
\n\u201cBoxing Day\u201c by Wolfgang Reifeneder \u2013 a fun piece for any number of players on everyday objects, preferably cardboard boxes.
\n\u201cMusic for pieces of wood\u201c by Steve Reich \u2013 a classic of minimal music
\n\u201cLe Chant de serpent\u201c by Eckhard Kopetzki for four players on fur instruments
\n\u201cTrio per uno\u201c by Nebosja Zivkovic \u2013 a powerful, virtuoso number for three, on one drum only<\/p>\n
